**About the OPPORTUNITY**
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Officer to join our EWS&E team based in Adelaide.
You'll be responsible for delivering precise machining and fabrication work using hand tools and workshop equipment, supporting engineering operations with high-quality results. Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
**Key responsibilities include**
- Plan, manage, and perform machining, welding, fabrication, and testing tasks
- Assist engineers with assembly, disassembly, and field trial support
- Construct and modify parts, tools, and jigs to meet project needs
- Work confidently with a wide range of materials including metals, plastics, timber, and composites
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, compliant workshop envionment
- Source materials and provide clear progress updates to stakeholders
**About YOU**
- Trade-qualified Fitter and Turner, or equivalent certification in machining and fabrication
- Tertiary qualifications in machining, fabrication, or a related engineering discipline
- Must hold or be eligible for a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) Security Clearance
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
