Adelaide, South Australia Pearson Allied Health Services Full time

Pearson Allied Health Services are looking for support workers.

We are particularly looking for staff who can do either:
** Overnight active or passive supports in the Southern and Northern area.**
- Support Staff who would like to work in one of our supported accommodation houses (Hackham, Morphett Vale, Elizabeth)
- Level 2 workers who can assist with tube/feeding; catheter care; supporting clients with complex needs and/or mental health diagnosis (training to be provided)

Selection Criteria

Ideally you will have one of more of the following:

- Currently be doing an allied health degree, nursing degree, education degree or similar.
- Have completed, or currently working towards completing a Certificate III or IV in Disabilities or Community Services.
- Have a certificate in Allied Health Assistance (AHA)
- Have a background in aged care or similar.
- Lived experience with disabilities
- A passion/interest for mentoring young people with disabilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Requirements
- Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse & Neglect training (RRHAN-EC)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- South Australia Driver's Licence
- Experience in working within the Disability sector (preferable)
- NDIS Worker Orientation and induction Module
- COVID 19 Vaccination (Double Vaccination and booster, status essential)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Morphett Vale SA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
