Our beautiful 82 place **Secret Harbour**service is looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Manager/Lead Educator to join our team. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and are passionate about delivering contemporary educational practices for our children, educators, and families.

As an integral leader in our nest, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team in delivering both high quality education and care as well as exceptional customer service for our children, families and community.
The Assistant Manager role is a unique leadership opportunity, as we start to introduce this to our Nido services. You will be able to have influence on how this role is shaped, working with our existing leadership triangle consisting of a Service Manager, Curriculum Leader and Service Administrator. The successful applicant will split their week in both a contact and non-contact capacity to provide in the moment coaching to the team, as well as managerial support to the leadership team ensuring smooth operation of the service.
This role is based 3 days off the floor and 2 days on the floor in the Kindy room.

**ABOUT THE SERVICE**:

- 82 place single story service with a long-standing Manager
- Caters for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 5 rooms and 2 stunning outdoor play areas as well as a piazza unique atelier.
- Strong management team to couch and guide you through your career
- Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation.
- Opening hours - 6:30am-630pm - Monday-Friday

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Hold a Bachelor of Education, Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent or working towards (essential)
- In-depth experience in leading a team within a childcare service
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
- Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
- Contribute to exceeding outcomes for children and Educators
