About the Role :
As the Nominated Supervisor, you'll be the heart of our OSHC program – managing daily operations, inspiring a team of educators, and creating a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where children can thrive. To be successful in this role you will need to have :
Minimum Diploma qualification or higher in Early Education and Care, along with experience in a similar capacity.
Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to positively interact with educators, children, families, and the community each day.
A genuine passion for and interest in working with children and families.
Ability to build capacity and make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Sound knowledge and understanding of the Regulatory Framework.
Candidates with a minimum of two years of previous experience as a Nominated Supervisor or Director will be highly valued for their desirable skills and experience.
Responsibilities :
In this exciting and important role, you will undertake the following responsibilities:
You have a vision to support local families and their children by mentoring and leading your team to exceptional heights.
Be a key contributor to delivering wonderful moments.
Demonstrate understanding of NQF standards, professional boundaries, and assist others with ethical dilemmas.
Actively and positively work to resolve operational, interpersonal, and family concerns for the Educational and Care Service.
Establish and maintain respectful collaborative partnerships with families to assess and support children's learning and wellbeing needs.
Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and team members.
CRCS also requires all employees to :
Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may affect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position.
