About the Role :
The Nominated Supervisor or Centre Director will lead and develop our Ginninderra Early Childhood Centre located in the Belconnen Community Centre. The ideal candidate will identify and nurture each Educator's strengths, leading with positivity and confidence. They will connect effortlessly with families, children, and educators to foster a sense of community and belonging.
To be successful in this role you will need :
Minimum Diploma qualification or higher in Early Education and Care, with relevant experience.
Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with educators, children, families, and the community daily.
A genuine passion for working with children and families.
Ability to build capacity and positively impact others' lives.
Knowledge of the Regulatory Framework.
Candidates with at least two years of experience as a Nominated Supervisor or Director will be highly valued.
Responsibilities :
Support local families and children by mentoring and leading your team to excellence.
Contribute to creating wonderful moments.
Understand NQF standards, maintain professional boundaries, and assist with ethical dilemmas.
Resolve operational, interpersonal, and family concerns effectively.
Build respectful partnerships with families to support children's learning and wellbeing.
Ensure a safe environment for children, families, and staff.
CRCS also requires all employees to :
Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and carry these at all times.
Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance before starting and every three years thereafter.
