Technical Standards Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Technical Standards Engineer to join our Engineering and Technical Solutions team in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne or Sydney.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in engineering standards, technical governance, and assurance within a complex operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and delivery of operations engineering standards roadmaps.
Align design and operational standards through close collaboration with Infrastructure Development teams.
Manage Change processes to support assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain and enhance the Technical Authority and Engineering Competency frameworks within Operations.
Monitor and report on technical compliance through performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to foster capability development.
Requirements
Experience in engineering standards, technical governance, or assurance within a complex operational environment.
Understanding of assurance processes, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proven ability to lead work and influence cross-functional teams, focusing on delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.
Effective communication skills with a track record of building collaborative relationships across operational and project-focused teams.
Strong experience in technical writing, particularly in the development of engineering standards or technical governance documents.
