Overview
Team Leader - Altona accommodationrole atSt John of God Health Care.
We are currently seeking applications from enthusiastic and motivated Team Leaders to join our Accommodation site in Altona (Inner-West).
You will lead and supervise a team of four to five Disability Support Workers in our brand-new state-of-the-art accommodation facility for people with a disability.
This position is permanent full-time, with rosters being a mix of weekday, weekend, day and night shifts.
Responsibilities
Provide effective leadership, mentoring and supervision of DSWs to assist the development and achievement of team and client goals.
Roster development, maintenance and review ensuring adherence to SJOGA guidelines, EBA, funding and legislation.
Active involvement in the implementation and review of person-centered plans (PCPs) as required, Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) in conjunction with clients and their circle of support and any other relevant stakeholders.
Ensure all relevant records (including but not limited to) file notes, incident reports, OHS requirements, client and household finances and health management records are accurately maintained and updated either electronically or paper based (as required).
Qualifications and requirements
Certificate IV or above in Disability Studies or a related discipline.
Strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders; proficiency in MS Office, internet research and Outlook.
Valid VIC Drivers Licence, Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR and be eligible for NDIS screening clearance.

Benefits
Salary: $88,387 to $95,096 plus 12% Superannuation
Permanent full-time or part-time positions available
