An exciting opportunity is available for a Payroll Manager to join our team
Based in Sydney, this role will oversee the Payroll Team at Pacific Concepts & Hunter St. Hospitality Group. Based 5 days in the office, located in the Rocks, we are looking for a payroll professional who is focused on team development and a true leader to drive and support the business with our HR & Payroll goals.

**About the Role**
The Payroll Manager role oversees the processing of the Australian payroll for two business units, Pacific Concepts and Hunter St. Hospitality.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Oversee the team with the end to end process of the Australian and New Zealand weekly payrolls capturing approx. 3000 staff
- Strong knowledge of ichris including report designer and configuration updates
- In-depth legislative knowledge and understanding including NES, PAYG, WGEA, STP2, Payroll Tax and Superannuation
- Ability to liaise with Executives and provide reports required
- Ability to authorise and oversee the team for all payroll processing duties
- Ability to manage internal payroll and accounting audits
**About You**
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Experience in a Payroll Manager role within a high volume business environment
- Strong knowledge of iChris21
- Knowledge of the Hospitality Industry General Award or Restaurant Industry Award (beneficial)
- Strong numeracy skills to perform accurate calculations
- Good interpersonal skills and the capacity to act with discretion and confidentiality
- Competent with Office Suite, mainly Excel
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate to Executives as well as Operational Teams
