Provide excellent customer service to retail and online customers and your hard work will be generously rewarded

Counter Sales Assistant - Full time - $55,000 per year + super

Mon-Fri and every second Saturday, with day of in lieu of.

The Fastener Factory supplies the trade and DIY with Hardware, Fasteners and general trade supplies.

**What we're looking for**:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong sales focus
- Motivated and hardworking with initiative, happy to 'get their hands dirty'
- Friendly, responsible and reliable
- Strong communication skills
- Drivers license & computer literate
- **Knowledge of the hardware or building trade is advantageous**

**The role**:

- Serving retail customers
- Processing phone orders
- General store up-keep and merchandising
- Contributing to a collaborative, results driven, fun team environment
- Opening/closing of store
- Restocking of shelves
- Purchasing, invoicing and inventory management
- Commitment to a safety first working environment
- Requirement to work 8.30am - 1.30pm every second Saturday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Oakleigh, VIC 3166: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
