We are looking for an HSE Advisor for our Northern NSW Major Hazard Facility in Tomago. In collaboration with operations, you will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments and address potential hazards, ensuring site compliance It is important that you provide a regular HSE presence on site to partner with front line leaders, promoting safety awareness, competency, and a culture of safety obsessed. You will lead investigations into high potential HSE incidents or accidents that occur and you will support the sites to identify root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- With a strong internal and external stakeholder focus, the ability to influence and engage is essential in fostering good relationships. This role will require an effective communicator who can provide accurate and timely HSE performance reports to business leaders and customers and liaise effectively with all relevant personnel.

Your remit will include:
- HSE advice and technical support to the leadership team and employees- Support the business to manage and maintain the HSE risk profile, risk assessment and risk management processes- Coach and mentor the workforce to foster a positive safety culture- Conduct HSE inspections, audits, incident investigations- Ensure all operational activities comply with applicable laws and regulations and Toll's codes of conduct- Engage with the leadership team to ensure HSE responsibilities and expectations are understood and enacted by all- Support the implementation and maintenance of external HSE certifications- Conduct and lead incident investigations (ICAM Methodology preferred)

To be successful in this role your experience will include:
- 2-5 years in a HSE role or University Graduate will be considered- Experience in relationship management of both internal clients and external stakeholders.- High level of Microsoft skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint- Excellent working knowledge of HSE- Experience in HSE systems implementation preferred- Experience in working in supply chain is preferred- Experience with regards to identifying and managing manual handling risks preferred- Knowledge of storage or transport of dangerous goods highly desirable

Technical/Professional Skills required- Able to demonstrate the highest level of confidentiality at all times- Strong planning and organisational skills- Process improvement- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight deadlines-
- Results and solutions driven with the desire to make a positive impact- Project Management

**Qualifications**:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment preferred- Lead Auditor Qualification preferred- ICAM preferred
