Overview of Position
To set up, monitor, operate and troubleshoot plastic injection
- Molding machines. This requires specialized knowledge of materials, specific tools, and equipment.
Skills & Experience
- Relevant Diploma qualification or higher
- More than 3 years tooling design experience
- More than 5 years injection tooling repair experience
- More than 2 years CNC programming experience

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, draft, manufacture & test prototype parts and assemblies for injection tooling.
- Prepare documents required for design data packs, such as: Ecifications, compliance matrices, design calculations, analysis reports.
- Perform detailed mechanical design calculations, including modelling, simulation & verification testing.
- Check the tooling structure from tooling 3d of supplier.
- Make CNC programme for injection tooling repair.
- Operate CNC, lathe machine, wire cut machine, EDM machine and welding machine.
- Repair and modify injection tooling.
- Propose, plan and implement process improvements to increase quality, reduce cost, improve safety and improve efficiency, working directly with manufacturing engineers and support teams.
