What you will be doing:

- Supporting the team engaged in managing the whole of government procurement systems and with ongoing system improvements.
- Providing system helpdesk support, ensuring effective support to agencies and industry in the use of the systems.
- Undertaking day to day support and maintenance of whole of government procurement systems including the Queensland Government Procurement Solution (QPS), the Queensland Government Arrangements Directory (QGAD), QTenders and contract lifecycle management system (QContracts) and SharePoint as well as other internal databases.
- Undertake system enhancement road and process mapping to assess and determine system and process improvements.
- Performing business systems testing for upgrades to whole of government procurement systems including QContracts, QTenders, QGAD and QPS.
- Assist the Systems Manager and other senior staff in developing new processes and procedures to support new systems solutions as they are deployed.

The skills you will need include being able to:

- Experience in providing high-quality help desk support, demonstrated by a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Experience in supporting business systems and associated projects and assisting in reviews of business processes.
- Highly developed communication skills, including effective consultation, negotiation and liaison skills.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data and information to reach sound and consistent conclusions.
- Understanding of the policies, practices and procedures that provide the framework for the operations of business systems.
