About This RoleOur clinic in Wagga Wagga is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team.
We are happy to accommodate a start date best suited to the successful candidate.The role is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7:30am – 8pm.
The initial hours during training will be 8:30am – 5pm.
Role Overview:As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.Your responsibilities will include:Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.Managing billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.Once fully trained, you will have the opportunity to be trained as a Contact Centre Agent.
Responsibilities include:Answering inbound phone calls for appointment bookings.Advising patients on preparation prior to relevant scans.Managing the appointment calendar effectively.

- Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
- Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
- Excellent attention to detail.
