**About us**

**The Opportunity**

We are currently growing our team and seeking an **Occupational Hygiene/ Hazardous Material Consultant **to join our **Perth **team.

You will help organisations identify, manage and mitigate risks and liabilities surrounding hazardous materials and other physical hazards so they can improve EHS in the workplace, protect their brand and meet their sustainability aspirations.

Day to day, you will:

- Undertake site surveys, including sampling (e.g. asbestos, lead, air monitoring, and other hazardous material)
- Develop decontamination strategies
- Contractor supervision during asbestos removal projects
- Analyse complex site datasets and prepare technical reports with support from senior staff, including Certified Occupational Hygienists
- Project, time and client management
- Help draft proposals for projects in the Transport, Oil and Gas, Power, Government and Property space

**What we'll love about you**

We specifically seek someone with:

- Have good working knowledge of current WHS regulations
- A degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Hygiene and/or Safety discipline
- Experience in measuring and assessing occupational exposure to hazards in the workplace including environmental factors and stresses, chemical hazards, physical hazards, ergonomic or biological hazards
- Experience in conducting asbestos surveys of various types of structures (domestic, commercial, industrial)
- Excellent writing skills to prepare technical reports
- A current Driver's License
