**DRILL FITTER - WESTERN AUSTRALIA**

BDS Mechanical has full time positions for Drill Fitters to join our team in Western Australia. These are permanent positions with multiple paths to progress in your career. A perfect opportunity to join a large, secure, reputable company.

**About us**:
BDS Mechanical Repairs is a growing, privately owned business that offers mechanical, auto electrical and welding repairs both in house and onsite with 22 fixed workshop locations. We have over 160 field service units and the team at BDS cover over 600,000 km2 of Queensland and Western Australia, meaning we're never too far away.
- Relevant Australian recognised qualification
- Current drivers license
- Minimum 12 months post-trade experience in the mining industry.
- Full Working Rights
- Experience on drills and mining equipment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Extra skills, experience, tickets and licences will be advantageous

**Your duties will include**:

- Carry out scheduled servicing and provide technical support in a manner that is safe and efficient
- Provide diagnostics and breakdown maintenance on drilling equipment
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize equipment downtime
