This role is perfect for someone experienced in quality management in a human services sector and who is ready to lead quality performance and drive initiatives that truly make a difference.
**The Role**:
As the Quality Management Specialist, you'll be responsible for contributing to the development of Uniting's continuous improvement and quality management initiatives within the Customer, Governance and Risk Directorate.
Reporting to the Head of Quality and Service Improvement, this role plays a key part in the delivery and implementation of Uniting's Quality Management Framework. You'll work closely with colleagues across our Senior Services, Communities, and Corporate Support Directorates, contributing to sustainable quality systems, frameworks and practices.
As part of the Customer, Risk and Governance team, and working closely with the Quality-of-Care Transformation team, this role is responsible for driving quality improvement initiatives that strengthen our capability and support Uniting's service excellence goals.
Stay across key reforms and regulatory changes in the aged As the Quality Management Specialist, you will:

- Lead and coach teams across Directorates to implement, evaluate and embed quality systems aligned with Uniting's Quality Management Framework.
- Co-design and develop sustainable quality assurance programs in partnership with service streams.
- Drive improvements in complaint handling, feedback mechanisms and continuous improvement processes.
- Partner with operational teams to ensure systems meet compliance requirements and promote positive outcomes for the people we serve.
- Develop organisation-wide quality assurance programs that inform and drive continuous improvement activities.
- Work closely with other quality and risk teams to identify synergies, avoid duplication, and simplify quality approaches across Uniting.
- care and community services sectors to ensure compliance and innovation.
- Contribute expertise to transformational projects arising from sector reform and regulatory change.
- Keep informed about new and emerging trends, technologies, and innovations in the quality and human services sectors.

**Who We're Looking For**:To be successful in this role, you will bring**:

- A relevant bachelor qualification in business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years' experience in a quality or compliance-focused role, ideally within the aged care, health or community sectors.
- Deep understanding of quality management systems, frameworks and accreditation standards.
- Strong skills in assurance programs, data analysis, and using insights to drive improvement.
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority and navigate complex organisations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised, systematic, and disciplined with a commitment to service excellence.
- A genuine passion for creating social change and improving outcomes for vulnerable communities.

**Even better if you have**:

- Hands-on experience in delivering or managing services within the Human Services Sector.
- Direct experience with aged care quality standards and compliance.
