**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role is a **Permanent position working on a sportsman roster**- DIDO to our **Boddington Mine**, located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).

As the **Technician** **Vacuum drilling,** Assist with the execution of vacuum drilling activities in compliance with operating standards, procedures, work instructions and defined processes, and schedules to achieve optimal outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Executes vacuum drilling activities efficiently according to planned and allocated tasks.
- Execute vacuum drilling activities in accordance with the relevant quality and HSEC standards.
- Ensure accurate positioning of drill rig against planned drill hole location.
- Provides input toward the maintenance and condition of equipment.
- Provides feedback to the Vacuum Drilling Supervisor on improvement opportunities.
- Participates in training as required for operational needs and as directed by the Vacuum Drilling Supervisor.
- Reports events and hazards in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in other mining activities as required.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Demonstrated oral and written English language proficiency.
- Certificate III in Drilling Operations (preferred)
- Light Rigid (LR) (or higher) class drivers licence.
- Relevant exploration drilling experience (preferably vacuum drilling).
- Demonstrated ability to work safely as a member of a team

**Qualifications for this position are**:

- Specific operational experience, skills and knowledge of mining operations is desirable.
- Experience in data analysis, interrogation and developing actionable plans to achieve business outcomes will be highly regarded.
