You'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing a fleet of large-scale mining equipment including CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi diggers up to 800T.This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives on tackling mechanical breakdowns, working autonomously, and keeping critical plant equipment online and operational.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and rebuilds on CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi diggers (up to 800T) and ancillary plant.Troubleshoot breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.Work both in-pit and onsite, providing responsive breakdown support to the fleet.Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship in all tasks.Skills & ExperienceTrade Qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter – must hold Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent.Extensive experience with large-scale diggers – CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr or Hitachi preferred.Ability to work independently and manage priorities under pressure.Strong safety-first mindset and high mechanical standards.What We OfferUp to $85/hr Full-Time + 12% Superannuation on All HoursFlexible travel options – FIFO, DIDO, or BIBOCompany Benefits including:$5,000 Referral BonusEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Salary Sacrifice OptionsPrivate Health Insurance DiscountsJoin a team that values your skill, rewards your impact, and offers the flexibility to suit your lifestyle.
