**Our Opportunity**

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role will be based at Lidcombe and will be responsible for ensuring the blowmoulding functions are completed in a professional manner, whilst maintaining operations of all aspects of safety, quality and productivity of the factory.

**Main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to**:

- Enhance the areas of responsibility by adopting excellence in hygiene, operational and safety standards by focussing on good manufacturing practices including housekeeping, reducing waste, personal hygiene and conformance to procedures.
- Ensure that relevant documentation relating to the areas of responsibility are maintained to preset standards.
- Have knowledge of and assist towards maintaining regulatory, company and quality systems (e.g. completion of operating logs, downtime recording, CIP testing/recording, etc).
- Provide cleaning services according to established schedules including maintaining records
- Safe storage and use of cleaning agents including using correct cleaning agents in correct quantities for each task.
- Minimise wastage including product, packaging, process inputs, time and chemicals and to report any excessive wastage to the Co-ordinator.
- Notify Co-ordinator, maintenance and laboratory of defective product or equipment malfunction (depending on situation).
- Isolate and identify defective product.
- Record equipment checks and malfunctions when they occur.
- Ensure that all interlocks, covers and guards are in place prior to operating equipment.
- Ensure that all safety checks are performed as per instructions.
- Ensure that products for rework are collected, handled and reprocessed according to verbal and written instructions.
- Reseal and move part-used boxes and bags of packaging materials to storage at end of the production run.
- Remove all waste product, packaging materials, etc. from production area to waste disposal at regular intervals during production run and dispose of appropriately.
- Support innovations and adapt to changes by focusing on a culture of continuous improvement in all areas of the business.
