We are a mental health practice located in the heart of Bondi Junction comprising of Psychiatrists and Allied Health practitioners. We provide our clients with a holistic approach to their care delivered in a client-centred environment.

Our practice is experiencing an exciting period of growth, and as such we are seeking an experienced Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join our friendly team of staff and clinicians on a part-time basis 3-4 days per week.

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Empathy and warmth when dealing with a diverse range of clients
- At least 2 years Administrative/Reception experience in a health or medical practice
- Experience with Medicare and Private billing
- An understanding of client confidentiality
- Demonstrated high quality organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records in a paperless environment
- Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and solve problems
- Excellent computer skills
- Well-developed communication skills
- Ability to cover annual leave and sick leave
- Willing to undertake a working with children check
- Willing to undertake a NDIS worker screening check

The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

- Reception duties and front desk management
- Attending to phone calls
- Assisting in the opening and closing of the Practice
- Administrative support to Practitioners and the Practice Manager
- Co-ordinating practitioner waitlists
- Compliance with practice policies and procedures
- Diary management and client bookings
- Managing client payments and processing Medicare rebates
- General administration
- Adhoc tasks as requested by the Practice Manager

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Medical administration: 2 years (preferred)
- Medical billing: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
