Work location will be in SIBC Sydney CBD Campus.
Job Description
Receptionist/ Administration Assistant is responsible for assisting daily operation of the college, responding and directing phone calls and emails, and ensuring students records are managed and maintained accurately.
Duties
Duties of a Receptionist/ Administration Assistant can vary:
- Responding to enquiries (in person, by phone, email etc.)
- Carrying out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Assisting with Student applications, enrolment, Intakes and Orientations
- Administering and monitoring the use of the attendance system and ensuring that the attendance records are maintained continuously and accessible for the purposes of reporting to statutory body.
- Updating student records on the student management information system.
- Filing and updating student academic and administration files.
- Assisting planning, managing and organising registration and induction for new students.
- General office duties as required.
To be successful you will have:
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and effective time management
- Excellent Computer Skills and Knowledge in Microsoft Office
Other:
- Ability to speak another language will be an advantage as the role requires effective communication with international students around the globe.
This is an entry-level role. For successful candidates without previous experience in a educational background, we have extensive training onsite.
