Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Atlassian Full time

**Working at Atlassian**

**Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.**
- Your future team:

- We are a focused group committed to protecting the security of our customers and their data. We value diverse thinking and creativity, so we can all support each other and do interesting things. You will work with the whole Atlassian team to improve our Trust Programme and story.
- Atlassian is rapidly growing our Trust Engagement Programme and we need experienced and motivated people to help us get there. As a Principal Trust Analyst, you will drive the growth and expansion of how we enable customer trust, reporting into the Head of Trust Engagement in the Trust organisation.
- You will be leading the relationships with Trust & Security, Compliance, Privacy, Legal, Operational and SRE teams, internal IT, and Field Operations and Go-To-Market Teams working to improve Trust & Security practices, broad changes to our internal processes, product features, and customer engagement. You will never have a dull moment as you will answer questions on how to promote confidence in an online world - an opportunity for innovation that has not yet been solved.

**What you'll do**:

- Improve Atlassian's security, privacy, reliability and compliance programmes
- Support our customers to remove trust as a blocker for customer acquisition, customer migration and long-term customer retention
- Develop a strategy for and publish publicly-facing materials, white papers, websites, and reports

**Your background**:

- Things move fast in cyber security and we're looking for individuals who can move just as fast, excel at experimentation, and work as a team.

**On your first day, we'll expect you to have**:

- 10+ years experience working in software and cloud security
- Experience leading discussions about security and risk trade-offs
- Experience with Governance, Security, Risk and Compliance domain areas
- Customer-facing or consulting engagement experience

**It's phenomenal, but not required, if you have**:

- Experience working in Regulatory Compliance, Global Privacy Programmes, or related functions;
- Participated in security industry events, conferences, groups or online community;
- Experience in an enterprise cloud business.
