
Communications Support Officer

Your contribution
Using your understanding and experience/qualification in communication and administration, you will:
- assist in delivering internal and external communication activities and administrative requirements that promote awareness of QLeave and a strong corporate brand
- liaise with and build working relationships with external suppliers
- create content for QLeave's web and intranet sites to ensure that they provide accurate, meaningful and timely information and comply with standards, policies and legislation
- assist with implementing new initiatives that will help to streamline communication activities
- assist with other duties as requested
- contribute to developing and committing to ethical behaviour and QLeave's corporate values
- Comply with record keeping requirements as per QLeave's internal policies
This position reports to the Principal Communications Advisor and has no supervisory responsibilities.

QLeave appointments are merit-based and will be assessed by looking at what you have done previously, the knowledge, skills and experience you have built, your potential for development, and your personal qualities.
**For this role, we will consider how well you**:
- use your understanding in engagement and communications to support the Strategic Optimisation and Communications team
- balance conflicting demands while working collaboratively across multiple concurrent tasks
- work flexibly to support the Strategic Optimisation and Communications team
- communicate - both written and verbally
- use Microsoft Office and content management systems such as SharePoint, and have experience using Vision6, Canva, SurveyMonkey and video editing programs (desirable).
