**The opportunity**
We are seeking expressions of interest for an Emergency Services Officer. Reporting to the ERT Supervisor, the main

responsibilities of this role include:

- Conducting routine maintenance and inspections of all rescue and emergency equipment
- Maintain and control safety store and first aid consumables used in the operational cycle.
- Maintain and operate the emergency systems required to enable a safe and secure work environment.

**What will you bring?**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A can-do attitude, commitment and proactive approach to work and safety standards
- An independence that allows you to complete tasks and achieve outcomes
- Certificate III in Mines Rescue (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in emergency operations, preferably in mining
- Competence in all aspects of mine site Emergency Response including but not limited to Closed Circuit

Regenerative Breathing Apparatus, Open Circuit Breathing Apparatus, Fire suppression, Hazmat, Rope
Rescue, Vehicle extrication, Confined space Rescue, Road Crash Rescue (or willingness to obtain)
- Australian Drug and Alcohol testing certificate (or equivalent)
- Occupational First Aid
- Current Australian Driver Licence (MR or HR Preferred)
- Fire extinguisher test and tag certificate
- You work well in a team environment and are able to effectively communicate and influence a wide range of

people
- As a key part of a dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of and take responsibility

for emergency procedures
