**Your Role**
The Payroll Analyst works as part of the payroll team to process the monthly and off-cycle payroll.
The Payroll Analyst is required to carry out a range of duties relating to the processing of all payruns, including but not limited to:
- Monitor data replicating from Success Factors to SAP and ensure correct payroll result- Providing advice to employees and other stakeholders in relation to all facets of payroll processing- Comprehensive understanding of current legislation relating to payroll- Assist in the completion of compliance audits as directed- Understanding of LSL State legislation and the ability to reconcile LSL balances as required- Understanding of termination pay entitlements including redundancies and ETP's- Assist with testing configuration changes in SAP before transporting to production database- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of all award interpretation and payroll legislation- Work closely with the Talent team to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time- Assist Team Leader with month end tasks as directed
**More About You**
We welcome applicants who have:
- Minimum 5 years' end to end payroll experience- Experience working in payroll compliance with the ability to manage time effectively- Thorough understanding of current legislation, including Superannuation, Payroll Tax and the ability to keep up to date with changing legislation- Excellent numeric and analytical skills including excel based reporting skills- Ability to investigate Payroll results and manually calculate pays- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work productively in a team environment and contribute to a positive team spirit- Highly motivated, with a focus on the stakeholder experience- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills- Previous experience working with SAP Payroll - Desirable- A working knowledge of Success Factors - Desirable
