**The Opportunity**

**We're looking for two Asset Management Analysts to join us on 3-month extendable contracts (high chance of 6-month extensions). This is a key role in the Finance Transformation program, within the Asset Lifecycle project stream, that aims to modernise the Asset Lifecycle Management process and ensure we maintain a good Return on Investment (ROI) in our Fixed Assets.**:
**This role has primary responsibility to assist the Asset Lifecycle Project Manager, the Business Units, and the Finance Department in the implementation of End-to-end asset lifecycle management. Initially, this role will focus on the historical asset review. In a second phase, the focus will shift to assisting the Business Units, Finance and the Asset Lifecycle Project Manager to create and implement of the new Asset Lifecycle process (including a system solution). The Fixed Asset Analyst main responsibilities will be**:
**What you'll be doing**
- For historical assets - a review of our current Fixed Asset Register to verify existence with the ability to identify and track all assets; and
- For current and new assets - disciplined asset lifecycle management process and controls to identify and record asset movements (unique number, physical location, placed in service, maintenance and disposal / sale).
- Liaise with the Business Unit asset managers to identify and track all assets capitalised on our books (both labour hours & tangible assets).
- Provide technical accounting advice to Business Units detailing which historical assets can / cannot be capitalised.
- Review historical assets useful lives to safeguard the accuracy of the Fixed Asset register.
- Fixed asset marking/tagging and tracking on site with the help of Storekeeper
- Gather and document process requirements from the Business Units Asset Managers and the Fixed Asset Accountant;
- Communicate process requirements to the Asset Lifecycle Project Manager;
- Assist the Business Units and the Finance team in the transition to the new process through change activities

- Advanced Excel / modelling skills
