Asset Allocation Analyst

Contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic investment management environment as an Asset Allocation Analyst. Engage with diverse asset classes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop skills in modelling, scenario analysis, and portfolio simulation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation and development of models for simulating portfolio returns and determining asset allocation
  • Use quantitative methods to assess the viability of investment strategies and allocation plans
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in asset allocation

As a key stakeholder in the investment process, interact with the Investment Committee, Financial Risk Committee, and Board of Directors. The Equity and Alternatives Team manages asset portfolios for Challenger Life, responsible for managing risk, capital, and liquidity positions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A proven ability to dissect complex data and make informed decisions
  • A strong academic track-record in quantitative disciplines
  • Excellent Excel/VBA skills and proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
