**THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Nominated Supervisor, the Educators responsibilities will include either the development and/ or implementation of age appropriate programmes and educational learning for the children. This is achieved through having a detailed knowledge of quality practice that reflects current trends and includes a collaborative approach with families, children, the community, educators / staff members and stakeholders. A key focus of this role is to enhance individual learning outcomes by creating an environment that develops the abilities and confidence for each child attending the center.

**THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- **Diploma** or Cert* III* qualification in Early Education and Childcare
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of developmentally appropriate practice with children
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a harmonious team environment.
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of Child Protection Legislation
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework
- Demonstrated knowledge of current trends in Early Childhood
