Technical Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced Principal Support Engineer to join our global Support Services team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in providing technical leadership and support to our customers.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in data warehousing solutions, with a strong focus on Greenplum. They will also possess excellent knowledge of parallel processing, integration with big data frameworks such as Hadoop, and analytical query design.
In addition, they will have a deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, including nodes, pods, services, deployments, and YAML files for Kubernetes resources. Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack is also essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
10+ years of total experience, with at least 7+ years in Data Warehouse solution with an emphasis on Greenplum
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytical query design
Experience in scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML, as well as programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or .Net
Excellent knowledge of cloud service environments in AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as intermediate to advanced knowledge of Red Hat Openshift for database solutions
