We are accredited by NATA and ISO 9001, ensuring our services meet both Australian and international standards.Job DescriptionSGS is looking for a Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Tennant Creek, NT.
The roster will be 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, days only.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Unloading, loading, sorting, and weighing samples onto drying racks while maintaining numerical order.Reconciling samples delivered with the sample submission form, including extras and those not received, onto the sample sorting sheet (ISO sheet).
Crushing, filter pressing, splitting samples, and transferring sub-samples for digestion, maintaining numerical order and following established quality control procedures to avoid contamination.QualificationsThe successful applicant will have:Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (desirable)Previous laboratory experience (desirable)Experience with AAS and PAL (desirable but not essential)Additional InformationWhy work for SGS?
