**About the opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening internal controls, and driving operational efficiency across the organization. You will lead a team of auditors and work closely with senior management to identify risks, improve processes, and uphold the highest standards of integrity and accountability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive internal audit plans aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of internal auditors in planning and executing audits across various departments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and safeguard company assets.
- Identify areas of potential fraud, inefficiency, or non-compliance and recommend actionable improvements.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution.
- Support special projects, investigations, and ad hoc requests from senior leadership.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree and/or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance, ideally within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Experience in general business audits and technology audits is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of insurance operations, products, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing audit teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities, with proficiency in audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
