**JOB**OPPORTUNITY: BRASS TUTOR (CONTRACTOR)**

Covenant Christian School was founded in 1978. It is a non-denominational Christian co-educational day school, with close to 900 students from Preschool to Year 12. **ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic **Brass Tutor** to work with our Year 4 & 5 band students. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young musicians and be part of a supportive school music program.

**KEY** RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Deliver engaging small group lessons in **brass** (upper and lower brass essential)
- Support students in developing foundational technique and ensemble skills
- Collaborate with the band director and school staff
- Optionally take on private instrumental students at the school

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Proficiency in teaching both upper/lower brass instruments
- Experience working with primary-aged students
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

**DESIRABLE**:

- Prior experience in school band programs
- Ability to adapt teaching to various skill levels
- Enthusiastic and encouraging teaching style
