About the Role
As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you will play an important part in making sure our residents live in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
You will carry out a range of cleaning duties throughout the home and may assist with laundry when needed.
What You Will Be Doing
Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and carpet cleaning
Managing waste and restocking supplies
Using cleaning products safely and correctly
Following infection control procedures
Helping to maintain a tidy and hazard-free environment
Assisting with laundry when required
Working as part of a supportive and dedicated team
What We Are Looking For
Previous cleaning experience (aged care experience is an advantage)
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe work practices
A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
Ability to follow routines and work independently
Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening requirements
