The purpose of the Consultant Group Investigations role will be primarily focused on conducting complex, sensitive, and protracted fraud, financial crime, and serious misconduct investigations. Additionally, investigations may identify control weakness, necessitating collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure business units are made aware of the control weakness.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Conduct and manage complex investigations, from start to finish, in accordance with the agreed scope and process requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing maturity of frameworks, processes, policies, tools, and practices supporting the Group Investigations team.
- Produce high standard written investigation reports and other written deliverables.
- Develop risk management strategies and tactics for consideration by the board to enhance the organisations capacity to cost effectively.
- Identify, manage and minimise all forms of unacceptable risk.
- Enable a professional and consistent approach to achieving business objectives throughout the organisation.

**What you will bring**:

- 5+ years experience in AML/CTF/ Fraud management.
- MUST CURRENTLY HOLD at least Baseline level Commonwealth Clearance and the ability to obtain NV1.
- Ability to conduct complex, sensitive, and protracted fraud, financial crime, and serious misconduct investigations.
- Proven ability to prioritise actions and manage multiple investigations, particularly when an immediate response is required in an environment where competing priorities often exist.
- Proven ability to identify strategic issues, contribute to and influence the development of strategic direction and translate strategic intent into successful operational outcomes.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships to enable cross-functional engagement, effective coordination and collaboration, effective resource utilisation, and conflict management amongst internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to create and review high quality written reports capable of withstanding internal and external scrutiny.
- Demonstrate a high ability to understand governance, policy, and legislative frameworks pertinent to any fraud and serious misconduct investigations.
