**Team Charter**

The Product Design team is a hugely important team within Mutinex. Our product is opinionated - in that, we have a view as to how things should and can be interpreted through data. Much like Amplitude, we use our Product Experience to guide this.

Product Design sits at the heart of crafting this experience with Product Management. The Product Design team will work in conjunction with Product Management to translate data and model architecture into genuine, impactful Product with a clear set of choices the user is able to make.

Importantly we expect Product Design to be a vocal voice for the human touch within the business - we want to empower this team to make good choices that improve our design orientation; rather than simply product work for other teams to create. In this sense, we are looking for this team to be considered and impactful; rather than reactive and high volume.

Our current key metrics are **Usage **and **Customer **Satisfaction **.

**Role Purpose**

**Be a core contributor to **product design **on GrowthOS and CustomerOS. Help our Product become more used, loved and adopted through interface than anyone else in the market. Contribute seriously to the development of our product.**

**This role is classed as IC; individual contributor; with scope and room to grow.**

**You'll be given extremely high autonomy with a degree of freedom on the Product to improve things as you see them. You'll be expected to work hand in hand with Product Management to deliver high quality UX and designs going forward.**

**Impact**
- **Improve the Customer Experience in GrowthOS and DataOS**:

- **Enable Mutinex to move towards +10 users per account per month**:

- **Lift the frequency of usage for key Customer users**:

- **[stretch] Re-think the UX of the entire marketing data platform stack to begin to introduce opinionated choices through design**

**Context**

**Our Product Design and Product Management functions have largely been merged historically with Hugh leading these efforts. We've got extremely far with a functional product, but it's missing key and core attentions around Design patterning and strong, user driven functionality. We're looking to add an amazing person to this team to give the space the time and care it deserves.**

**We want this person to have freedom and autonomy to make decisions. We also want this person to be fresh and at the start of their career; so as to embed and envisage the optimism in the product that we want and can see.**

**Responsibilities**

**Primary**
- **Lead our Product Design efforts in the short-term and own the UX and design process around GrowthOS**:

- **Product high quality wireframes and designs to support a growing product roadmap in GrowthOS; alongside specific MVP designs for DataOS**:

- **Support initial exploratory designs around DataOS and other key product initiatives to help get them to MVP and initial business support**:

- **Provide strong design opinions to the Mutinex executive team and be**:

- **Help shape the culture of Product Design at Mutinex, with a view to educating wider team on good practices and elements**

- **Look to push our UX further - how can we re-imagine what we are doing to better suit and fit our vision**:

- **Improve Customer onboarding through improved UX; leading to less training and faster product adoption
