**Job Title**: Exploration Geologist

**Responsible to**: Chief Executive Officer

**Proposed Salary**: AUD 110,000.00 per annum plus compulsory superannuation contribution

**Hours of Work**: A minimum of 38 hours per week

**General Purpose of Job**

The Exploration Geologist is required to be responsible for the field-based exploration programs, a hands-on role, including planning, logging, and supervising of exploration activities. Good with GIS data management software, reporting and interpreting results.

**Key accountabilities including but not limited to**:

- A Bachelor of Science in Geology or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Fluent in GIS (Mapinfo, QGIS), Micromine and 3D interpretation
- Familiar with sampling, RC/Diamond drilling JORC standards
- Very strong administrative and organisational skills
- An acute awareness of field and road safety, heritage and native title cultural awareness.

**Main Responsibilities / Duties**
- Data management, interpretation and target generation
- Drilling program preparation (planning and logistics)
- Implementation of the exploration plan;
- Geological logging and sampling;
- Completion of required QA/QC planning and evaluation;
- Field mapping, sampling and tenement rehabilitation
- Exploration update report and budget management
- Tenement reporting, including statutory reports and budget/management report.
- Coordinate site preparation and heritage surveys
- Safety planning

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $110,000.00 per year
