Join a leading civil contractor in a flexible, part-time payroll role with a Leading Civil contractor. This is a great opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to contribute to a supportive, close-knit team. The role offers flexible hours approximately 15 hours per week across 3 days. Ideally, you'll work Wednesdays and Thursdays, with flexibility for the third day and start/finish times.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage employee timesheets and life cycle changes (onboarding, terminations, leave, role changes)
- Support weekly, month-end, and year-end payroll processing and reporting
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and legislation
- Manage and deal with payroll queries as and when required
- Maintain data integrity within the system, ensuring it is accurate and up to date
- Assist Payroll Manager as required including back up support when Payroll Manager is away
- Assist with general payroll and administrative tasks, while identifying opportunities for process improvement

**Required competencies**:

- 3+ years' experience in payroll
- Strong understanding of Awards, EBAs and payroll regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A mature, proactive and team focused mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
