About the Role:
We are seeking a Network Planner to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our network, and growth into new areas. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the daily monitoring, analysis, and optimisation of the network to align with operational needs and improve efficiency.
You will collaborate with a range of stakeholders, both inside and outside the company to facilitate delivery centre openings, enhance network capacity, and maintain accuracy in network parameters. The ideal person for this role needs to be forward thinking, as this role is about analysing our network and looking for growth opportunities. As we expand our network across the country to service our customers, success for this person will look like a well developed, sophisticated and mature network, with strong relationships with our counterparts in Canada to leverage knowledge and capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day monitoring of network performance, within the context of our operational reality and customer promise
- Supporting station growth by assessing the requirements of opening new locations and proposing the optimal solution while working with all the relevant stakeholders both internal and external to provide solutions for customers
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to optimise operational efficiency and performance.
- Manage the delivery service expansion plan, owning the implementation process and roll-out timeline.
- Perform analysis of our network capacity that will drive improvements and highlight opportunities.
- Maintain the integrity of the parameters related to our network including Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and transit time.
- Become the pivotal point between IT and Operations for our internal network regarding reporting and new IT innovation.
- Create and maintain detailed, up-to-date technical documentation in a team repository.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management or requisite experience (highly regarded)
- Keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
