We're looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Assistant Manager / Supervisor to help lead our café team. You'll work closely with the Café Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, deliver excellent customer service, and support the team to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for both staff and customers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service
- Assist with daily operations including opening and closing procedures
- Support the Café Manager with staff rostering, training, and performance management
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and inventory control
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene and health regulations are adhered to
- Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally
- Support the implementation of promotions and initiatives to grow sales
- Motivate the team to meet sales targets and maintain high store standards
- Step up to manage the store in the Manager's absence

**What We're Looking For**
- Experience in a similar role in hospitality or retail
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A hands-on, can-do attitude and a team-first mindset
- Passion for customer service and creating positive experiences
- Organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm and confident under pressure
- Barista experience is required.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
