We believe that you'll be a pivotal part of the team, so we'll give you all the support, training and development you need to thrive.The Heart of the role:Supporting the Practice Manager in coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patientsAssist with overall financial performance of the practice in line with the approved budgetContribute to and assist in facilitating regular team meetingsPatient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accountsGeneral administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCapsIn the absence of the Practice Manager you will be required to step into the role of Acting Practice ManagerEffectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staffWhat you'll bring:Previous dental experience desirable but we also welcome applications from successful managers from other industriesPrior business and people management experience essentialProven track record of strong organisational skills, administrative and time managementExceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumenUnderstanding how to generate income and control costsAble to face into difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they ariseComfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients, and your practice teamExperienced in comprehending and managing the P&L for the practiceExceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumenBenefits of joining Bupa Dental:Competitive salary + Bupa benefits including significant product and service discountsComprehensive training and ongoing development - we say it because we actually do it
