We are a newly opened Café in Ipswich focusing on providing outstanding customer service, excellent coffee, and delicious food. We are currently seeking a Café Manager that is passionate about hospitality and can lead our team and increase sales.

Our Café is open Monday - Friday 6:00am until 5:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 7:00am until 1:00pm.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated management experience within the hospitality industry (3+ years' experience is essential).
- Minimum 3 years of Barista experience - Essential
- Business development skills in the food/hospitality industry, particularly within cafes - Essential
- Rostering experience - Essential
- Previous experience in meeting KPI targets - Essential
- Strong customer service focus and ability to confidently interact with customers.
- Ability to streamline processes to increase delivery speed
- Excellent management and communication skills
- Ability to provide instructions and ensure staff are providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work within a team environment and lead a team
- Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety requirements, food safety and hygiene.
- The QLD Government has made it a requirement for all hospitality workers to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

**Responsibilities**:

- Barista all-rounder duties
- Cash register reconciliation
- Manage and lead fellow team members
- Be able to roster efficiently to meet labour cost targets without compromising service
- Stock control and ordering of stock
- Customer feedback response
- Opening & closing of the store
- Meet KPI targets

**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ipswich, QLD 4305: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
