**About the role**:

- The Lead, Research and Impact contributes to VicHealth's vision for research impact by leading our ambitious Research Impact Plan to:

- Mobilise research impact for systems change
- Prioritise knowledge translation and dissemination
- Strengthen capabilities and learn with our communities and partners

**Key responsibilities**:

- Integrate VicHealth's research and knowledge translation activities across the organisation's program design, delivery and evaluation
- Develop and implement the communication plan for the Research Impact Plan with internal and external stakeholders, including reports and updates for VicHealth staff and board
- Design and delivery of implementation-focussed research grants and commissioned research in line with VicHealth's research and policy priorities
- Contribute to the development of a highly effective team including the supervision of one of the Coordinators Research and Impact

**About you**:

- We're looking for someone who values research that is translational and transformative. You will bring your research acumen and organisational abilities to build and support the VicHealth research community, effectively and strategically target VicHealth research investments and provide effective liaison and stakeholder engagement.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Public Health, Social Policy or related field, preferably at a post-graduate level
- At least 3 years' experience working in fields related to Public Health, Health Promotion research or programs
- At least 2 years' experience in research project management, with commissioning experience preferred

**Remuneration**:From $95,040 per annum, pro rata (plus superannuation and other benefits)
