We're looking for a strategic thinker with financial services industry experience, who also loves rolling up their sleeves to get things done.
This IT Ops Lead role will involve shaping, streamlining and strengthening how technology is used across the business.You'll be joining a top-tier financial services firm with around 50 employees spread across multiple states.
$140-160k + superFlexible working, mostly in-office preferred (Melbourne CBD)What's in it for you?
Take ownership of IT operations and lead impactful internal projectsSet the direction for how the business uses technology day to dayA varied role that balances strategy with hands-on deliveryThe scope to modernise systems, introduce new tools, and implement best practices that will make a lasting differenceThe satisfaction of enabling a high-performing financial services team to work smarter and more securely across multiple locationsWhat you'll be doing:Leading and delivering key IT projects, such as:Introducing new collaboration toolsHeading up new AI initiativesImplementing an intranetSetting up JiraReviewing existing applications and platforms to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvementDesigning and implementing policies to ensure consistent and secure use of technology across the organisationOptimising everyday systems - from filing structures to communication tools - to ensure they're fit for purposeActing as both the strategic lead and hands-on problem solver to keep operations running smoothlyWhat we're looking for:Experience in a Microsoft environmentExperience in financial services requiredExperience managing IT operations and delivering technology projects end to endA balance of strategic vision and a willingness to get stuck into the detailStrong knowledge of collaboration and workflow tools (e.g. Jira, Trello, Monday.com, or similar)The ability to assess current-state systems and design clear, effective solutionsExcellent communication and organisational skills to bring colleagues on the journey with youThis is your chance to make a real impact - driving change, simplifying processes, and setting the foundation for a smarter, more connected workplace in a leading financial services firm.
