**What is the role?**

We currently have an opportunity for a Workplace Specialist (Mailroom Officer) to join our dynamic team in the Brisbane CBD. This is a fast-paced position that will see you provide first class service to one of our Government Clients. You will need to be an energetic, positive, and passionate people person, who will be responsible for representing our client's values and brand by providing exceptional customer service. The role is based within a premium corporate office within the Brisbane CBD and has a Monday to Friday, corporate hours work schedule.

**What will be involved in your day to day tasks?**
- Receipt, sorting and delivering all incoming mail items in accordance to set timeframes
- Collection, scanning and distribution of all outgoing mail items in accordance to set timeframes
- Working closely with protective services, including X raying of incoming parcels
- Maintaining solid product, system and procedural knowledge of all lines of the standard and non-standard parcel and mail processes
- Proactively following up on situations required where customers are tracking parcels or mail, exhausting all avenues to meet customer's expectations and seek resolve
- Seek opportunities to implement process improvements and/or refine current practices as they may be to enhance the Customer experience and monitor own quality of work
- Provide a service level beyond the tenant's expectations to go above and beyond
- Look for ways to improve the tenant's experience of working within the building.
- Ad-hoc facilities and business services requests
- This position requires periods of walking, standing, sitting and some manual handling.
