One of our premium government clients based in Canberra are looking for a Program Manager**. **The contract is for** 12 months **where you will be given the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the continued innovation and success of this client.

This role is working within a critical Government Department, overseeing the delivery of 3 separate projects, across varies areas including Voice Communications and Data Governance.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage the Program and lead the delivery of project outputs using the MSP methodology, including overseeing budget, schedule, outcomes, risks, benefits, outcomes and quality standards;
- Have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to manage vendor, technical and business stakeholder relationships.
- Direct project, technical and business resources to deliver work packages by attending meetings with project teams and clients, managing risks and resolving issues.
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of project documentation in accordance with program requirements and methodologies based on MSP and Prince2;
- Guide and coach project managers in using Agile delivery practices;
- Engage with internal IT staff, Executive members and external agencies as required or directed;
**Australian Citizenship required, clearances preffered.**
