About the Role

The Team Leader will be responsible for assisting the Events Manager with the smooth and efficient operation of our events venues, through the supervision of your team members and ensuring all guests' needs are met efficiently and seamlessly by creating memorable experiences.

Some of the responsibilities include:

- Supervision and support of the Food and Beverage employees, ensuring exceptional and efficient service is delivered.
- Help the Food and Beverage management team with the delegation of tasks and implementation of Hyatt brand standards through day to day operations
- Provide training and on boarding support for new associates within the department
- Assist in rosters and managing staff attendance

**Qualifications**:

- Previous Food & Beverage experience in hotel events environment or similar fast-paced environment
- Previous supervisory / managerial experience in a similar role or fast-paced environment
- A valid and current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
- The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure
