About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Demand Planner on a 12 Month FTC to perform demand planning, inventory management and warehouse replenishment functions to maximize business profit and meet customer DIFOT expectations. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimum service levels, including local and overseas vendors, Merchandise and Supply Chain personal.

What you'll do

Able to use IHG forecast & replenishment software to review inventory within your portfolio & generate purchase orders on vendors for delivery to regional Distribution Centres.
Monitor stock availability and facilitate action to source out of stock lines ensuring key lines are prioritized and able to evaluate, action & report on Sku's impacting DIFOT results within you portfolio.
Regularly liaise with Category Managers & Assistants to develop demand plans and manage other inventory issues as they may arise and able to evaluate & regulate stock flow into the DC's ensuring all new lines are compliant with warehouse needs & order cycles aligned for optimum receiving.
Regularly engage with vendors within your portfolio to achieve agreed supply standards & all other inventory requirements and participate in all inventory related meetings within the Inventory Team and with other stakeholders as required.

What you'll bring

Analytical Ability to resolve stock & supply issues in an effective & efficient manner.
A comprehensive understanding of demand planning, warehouse & reporting systems. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to make recommendations to stakeholder based on performance of warehouse product and ability to identify & change inefficient work practices.
Punctuality and ability to manage own time and resources effectively and proven team player, with a strong focus on alignment to company values and achieving shared company objectives.
Strong communication, negotiating and problem-solving skills and high level of attention to detail.
