The Quality and Compliance Manager (Healthcare) will play a key role in the development and implementation of a comprehensive quality and compliance framework and annual Quality Plan for the Healthcare sector. This plan will monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure ongoing evaluation of services and their delivery, whilst supporting efforts to improve and enhance operational performance. This role can be based from Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.
- _**_Role Responsibilities _**
- Develop and implement quality management systems, policies, and procedures for Healthcare Services in the business, in line with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Develop, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing quality and compliance programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operational teams, to develop and deliver training programs on quality and compliance topics to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness, receive and provide feedback accordingly.
- Stay updated with changes in regulations, guidelines, and industry trends related to Healthcare services and ensure that the organisation remains in compliance.
- Investigate and respond to feedback (both internal and external), complaints, and incidents related to quality and compliance, implementing appropriate corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, promoting quality awareness and fostering a proactive approach to quality and compliance within the organisation.
- Prepare and present reports on quality and compliance performance to senior management, highlighting areas of concern and recommending actions for improvement.

**_The Person_**
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing a quality framework that is aligned with the strategic goals of an organisation
- Healthcare industry experience highly desired but not necessary
- Experience working within the areas of quality improvement, compliance, risk management and audit management
- Highly developed problem solving & analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate all internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop strong working relationships through the values of respect, consideration and transparency
- A passion and dedication to contributing to the vision of the organisation and supporting the Healthcare Leadership team

**Preferred**
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
- Understanding of agile/scrum methodology and how quality improvement and compliance functions within it
