**About this role**:
Direct Focus Solutions (DFS) is looking to recruit a disability and community support worker to provide in-home services and supports, as well as facilitate access to the community, for clients within Eastern Sydney, ideally within Daceyville and its surrounding areas. These supports would need to be delivered during afternoon and evening shifts, so capacity to perform this role at these times is essential.

**Requirements**:

- Personal Care, Disability, Community Services, or Aged Care qualifications and/or experience.
- The ability to reliably commute to, and work within, Daceyville in Eastern Sydney and its surrounding areas.
- Knowledge of personal care supports and the safe delivery of medication.
- Experience with NDIS programs and participants.
- The ability to attend afternoon and evening shifts with clients on weekdays.
- Experience working with complex clients.
- Computer literacy to interact successfully with our client management system.
- A driver's license and have reliable access to a vehicle prior to employment.

Successful applicants will be required to:

- Facilitate supports for clients of all ages and abilities.
- Be flexible in accordance with the specific needs of our clients. This will include the ability to attend afternoon and evening shifts during weekdays.
- Successfully support clients with complex needs as required.
- Collaborate as part of a team and work with a diverse range of clients.

DFS is prepared to support individuals to obtain the following checks as a further condition of their employment:

- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker's Check (NDISWC)
- Police Check
