TTI is currently seeking a Team Leader to join our team in Sydney. Reporting to the DC Team Manager, your key duties will include:
Ensure the safe, accurate and efficient picking and processing of all orders through to despatch within agreed timeframes. Manage the team to achieve a cost effective and safe operation within the NSW warehouse by use of the business and system; MLS-WMS processes and procedures. Obtain a strong level of system; WMS-MLS knowledge to lead and coach teams.

Ø Ensure all Put-away from GR is achieved within 24hrs of receipt

Ø Ensure all orders are picked and despatched within agreed lead-times

Ø Ensure pick accuracy to minimise inventory loss, and achieve high customer satisfaction

Ø Ensure that pick face replenishment is optimised and completed on a timely basis

Ø Work with the Inventory Team to ensure that system and physical inventory differences and issues are resolved promptly to minimise delays in picking.

Ø Provide training and support in use of the MLS-WMS system and their associated procedures to the inbound, picking, packing and replenishment teams.

Ø Support the cycle count program put in place by the Inventory Team

Ø Working with the Inventory Team to ensure that pick faces are in optimum areas to increase warehouse picking throughput

Ø Manage MHE resources to assist the receiving and putaway functions to meet agreed targets in conjunction with other Teams

Ø Accurate planning of labour hours in your designated area of responsibility

Ø Prepare and report day/weekly/monthly as appropriate on agreed KPI measures and analysis to ensure all targets are exceeded

Ø Ensure aisles and pick faces are always keep clean and tidy in accordance with the expectations set by the Warehouse Management Team

Skills and experience required:
Ø Demonstrated experience in process improvement and continuous improvement with respect to picking/replenishment activities

Ø Experience in documenting processes and procedures

Ø Experience in managing picking and replenishment teams within a FMCG warehouse environment

Ø Experienced in picking/replenishment within a large (20,000 plus pallet) warehouse, managing a team of 25+

Ø Thorough knowledge of all aspects of picking, replenishment, cycle counting & training staff on the use of the relevant warehouse management system -WMS; SAP, Microlistics - MLS

Ø 2 years plus experience using complex WMS, for Inbound, Outbound and Inventory processes

ØAbility to use Microsoft Office programs; Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel to enhance your continuous improvement in role and support of team
